PON red light
This has gone off obviously, but also for multiple other people I know living in a close vicinity to me, is this an issue which could fix itself, or does it need looking at by a professional

@Halibow A red PON lightvsimply indicates thatvthe ONT has lost the optical signal. At the time of night you posted it could simply be Openreach have taken down the exchange kit that generates the optical signal for maintenance in which case the service should be back this morning. If it isnt and you still have a red PON light run the service Checker in the My Sky app overca mobile connection and click to run the Broadband check which will tell you if Sky are aware of a fault if they aren't ca ll them to report it.
