PC won't connect to WiFi when everything else does

Had Sky for approx 4 weeks now. Everything has connected ok with the exception of one pc upstairs (router is downstairs) which won't connect. We have upgraded our broadband and it still won't connect. It will connect if we bring it downstairs. We needed a booster with our Virgin broadband to get a strong signal upstairs. Help please?

@Richard2901  What Sky products do you have as you also mention Virgin media broadband.

We have Sky Stream, laptops, Xbox and PS5, Ring doorbell and Alexa speakers, all connect fine except for this pc that will only connect downstairs, upstairs it won't connect

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these. 

Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.
