Openreach wants to Drill a hole

Hello

 

I got a message from openreach saying that they are needing to drill a hole for fibre. I rather this not happen. If it is needing done, how big will the hole be?

@Naseem1012  This does need done and the hole is not that big and is sealed at both ends to stop anythng getting in.

For a new FTTP installation, the optical cable has to enter the property somehow.  If you are not prepared to consent to drilling then the order would have to be cancelled: it's no longer possible for ISPs to provision service over existing copper phone cabling in areas within the scope of the national  Openreach optical network.
