Openreach fibre installation times

Hi, I was supposed to have sky fibre connected and installed yesterday -may 3rd.

The engineer came but due to it being a flat roof could only fit the box inside of the house but could not do the cable work from the telephone pole to the house. He put in the request fir this to be done by the openreach trams but I have yet to hear from them to do this.

How long does it normally take for this work to be dove from the engineers request. As I'm now paying for fibre which I'm not able to use. Why did they not think to ask on the initial set up

Entirely down to local availability of suitably trained Openreach personnel with access to the right equipment, I'm afraid.
