Openreach delays again for fibre

Hi is it worth cancelling or not at this has been going on for 6 months waiting for fibre to be fitted and all we keep getting is update after update it's like I've been pushed aside and forgotten about excuse after excuse for install

Have you spoken to Sky to find out why there has been this lengthy delay ?

I have and they just give me the excuse openreach has escalated my case etc but that's all we get nothing else quite useless really

@Gaming21 Just finished neighbours yesterday, available 1st Sept 24, she did order Nov 2024, just installed Jun18th 2025, all because VM stuffed the crossover duct's and OR had no way to get back to the pole's, so they are now digging path's across roadway and down the pavement with civil's as and when ordered by customer's it is one huge mess but at least they are doing it and no doubt very costly.

Did you complete the on line enquiry form and what was their response?

Next step would be to email the CEO of Openreach.  When my broadband went  down sky gave it to me to me after we reached an impasse on why it was taking 3 weeks to fix an internal fault.  They created a complaint number on their side and i emailed openreach seperately

Yh I had emailed etc and got f all back from openreach I've used the bt checker and still the same no change I'm having to use my data as wifi

@Gaming21 There is absolutley nothing it's all in the hands off the infrastructure Engineers, and they are just trying to keep the fire from burning there feet one job at a time.

It's ridiculous I will probably end up cancelling if they don't have me active by july
