Open reach delayed fttp installation

I have had an incredibly rough history with the WIFI supplied to my household with instances including dropouts, high latency, and the speedtester on sky's app showing something completely different to other testers.
After realising Sky was never going to help with any of my issues at the time I moved onto full fibre which I found out was being installed to my town.

After registering my interest it had shown "Build Planned Between now and Dec-2024"

I've been waiting since October and when it finally came round to the end of December (It still said the same on open reach so i took it as the end of Dec) literally like Dec 30 was when they changed it to "not available yet".

I finally thought my issues with my WiFi were finally going to be fixed and now it just seems as though they're going to keep coming up with new dates to keep our anger at bay until we finally get it in like 6 more years. Might I add there is literally no way to contact them as well, like when i log onto their website it's as if im trying to torture out information from an already dead hamster.

Please just someone tell me that this won't take another year i seriously cannot stand getting less than 5 mbps download some nights

@Robbie_Doug  No one on the community can give you any timescales as we are all customers here.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

The timetable of the national FTTP rollout has nothing to do with Sky or any other ISP.  In the UK the current target for Openreach to get 85% of UK properties (the percentage designated as 'commercially viable') within reach of full fibre infrastructure is the end of December 2026, but beyond that any individual deployment date can and will change according to local circumstances.
