I'm meant to be getting my broadband installed next week. I received a text from a different number saying that it was open reach and they've changed my date until over a month away which would be ridiculous to wait a month for internet. I've been trying to get into contact with someone to see if this is real and if it can be changed to an earlier date. but the automated messages keep me going in circles. Is there a number that I can get to a real person?

Find out more@1Sjh it is probably genuine if you are having a new fbre connection its not that unusual Openreach will have checked the work involved and found it is more complex than the database indicated. No idea what the complication could be. In your case but in mine it was the need to do acdig in the road others have been for having to closeca road while running overhead cables.
Sky should be able to confirm the date but msy not be able to see why..
