Only getting 75 MB all the time even though I have the giga fast package

Untill last week I had the 500MB package and I was getting download speeds of 75MB and my upload speed was quicker at 76MB. I tried the broadband service checker and it said everything looked fine. I one page it also stated the upgrading my package may help with the issue. I upgraded to giga fast and I am still only get download speeds of 75 MB. I have done all the equipment resets as instructed by sky and this problem just won't fix itself. I am in a new build flat and I'm thinking there maybe a problem with the ONT or the wiring into the flat but sky just don't want to send an engineer round. Any ideas on how to deal with this? TIA

@Boybaz73 where the download speed is limited by the WiFi signal in your home increasing thecspeed to your hub will not help. You need to improve the WiFi in your home or use gigabit ethernet connections. 

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.
