Ongoing WiFi issues

I'm having ongoing WiFi Connection issues. I recently received a WiFi booster from Sky but this hasn't worked. I thought the issue was with my Ring doorbell so I was sent a new one out but the issues remain on the Ring doorbell when I try to check out live view on it. Also I've noticed numerous apps on mine and my wives phones aren't working unless we turn phone WiFi off

Hi @Chippo1

What exactly are the WiFi issues you are experiencing? If its a coverage issue, typically a booster would solve this. If its a disconnection or speed issue then a booster may not.

Also regarding some apps not working, try disabling Sky Shield. https://www.sky.com/myaccount/bb-and-talk/broadband-shield

Re: Ongoing WiFi issues

WiFi dropping terribly and booster isn't working. Can't even go live in my ring doorbell which is next to my Sky Broadband Hub. What do I do now? Why can't I report a fault via My Sky App?

Re: Ongoing WiFi issues

I had the same issue with my Google home doorbell. I swapped to a mesh network (eero) and switched of WiFi on the max router and Everything magically works. Although my speed is flakey compared to Virgin Media. I'm not sure if it's a poor router, or if SKY want's you to buy their new doorbell, but it's definately the router at fault.
