Old broadband router

I had sky broadband, changed to Vodafone for either 18/24 month contract, signed up with Sky again & now they've decided to ask for old equipment back, I've changed providers loads of times in past & have never been asked to send old routers back until now, 20+ year customer & they gonna charge me £50+ for obsolete equipment! Anyone know if they'll actually go through with the charge? Certainly be last nail in coffin of having Sky if they do!!

@Scottishbruce75 Sky require return of their hub and will instruct debt collectors if the charge is not paid or the hub not returned.  These days Sky are not hhe only isps requiring return of their kit which is lent not given.

Re: Old broadband router

If they'd asked at the time fair enough but waiting 18/24 months is a bit of a joke! Who keeps old routers that long!!

Loaned Sky Broadband Hubs are still current hardware and get reissued to subscribers who don't have the newer Max Hub.
