Nvr offline

Hi I've just moved to sky full fibre And have lost my pc/mobile connection to my cctv nvr. Worked fine with EE. The SmartPSS software can see the nvr but says offline, mobile p2p software doesn't load saying failed connection.

Tried a factory reset on the nvr reconfigured hub to fast ethernet. Can anyone please help

If the CCTV uses uPnP it should just work automatically otherwise you will need to port forward the required ports for your CCTV system to work.

See the manual for the CCTV system for the required ports to forward.

There is an article on the site for port forwarding through the standard Sky Hubs if you search the forum.

-------

Zen internet on FTTP (900Mbps down, 100Mbps up). SAT> IP (Apple 4K 2nd gen TV to LG C1 OLED UHD TV/Dolby Atmos Denon AVR, DacMagic Plus for Hi-Res audio), hosting own blog/forum (cluster), OPNsense & Zenarmor L4/L7 NGFW & DPI IDS/IPS, Asus ET12 Pro Tri-Band wifi, Linux, Gamer: Xbox Series X/i7 laptop, round-robin DNS over HTTPS, non-proprietary VoIP HD AMR-WB (G.722.2) and more... Beta tester Apple iOS/watchOS/tvOS/iPadOS/macOS.

Is the NVR set up manually with its IP details or via DHCP? If set up manually then it needs to be in the subnet 192.168.0.0/24 range. I tend to suggest a reset of the NVR is required and for its IP details to be set up again.
