Not 5gb super fast.
Just had after an absolute nightmare with Sky and City Fibre neither company had a clue as to what was going on and now after 8 weeks without a broadband connection we were connected today we dug our own 75 metre trench, no mean feat. Sky you were less than helpful during every call to you for updates. With a Disabled family member unable to use a phone or do their work from home. You could not have cared less.
you sold us a 5GB deal and whaddya know we are only receiving at best 1.394 download at best and 1.1 gb upload. But I'll deal with you Sky tomorrow
this whole process has been horrendous and I need a few days to get over the stress levels you have subjected me to. High Level Complaint coming your way Sky.

Re: Not 5gb super fast.
@Mikebov you sre not talking to Sky by pisting in this forum you need to use these channels to complain formally How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help | Sky.com
All full fibre connections are shared services with City Fibreca connection point serving up to 64 lines has a downstream connection with 10Gb/s capacity. Those 64 lines are sold by any ISP who buys connectivity from City Fibre. This is why these connections are sold as up to 5Gb/s.
A lot depends on how you are measurung speed as thecspeed a device will get will depend on how it is connected d to the hub. If over WiFi 1.3Gb/s is pretty normal in ldeal conditions you may get over 2Gb/s. If you use the sole 10Gb/s Ethernet port you should be see spedds approachung 5Gb/s. Sky like every other ISP only guarantees speed to the hub not to the device.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
