No wifi

WiFi has been going out the last few days, comes and goes but there has always been a flashing orange light on the router box to signal the Internet is out. But the last 24 hours, the Internet has been gone for larger chunks of time, and there's no orange light, the light for the WiFi is just out and there's no WiFi. Earlier yesterday afternoon when I checked on my sky account for any issues, it said there was an outage in the area and that the Internet would come back once it was fixed. It took a while but it came back. Now again the Internet has been out for some time and there's no orange light on the router, but when I troubleshoot, it says everything's working fine and everything connected? I don't understand what's going on, I'm using my phone data to deal with this right now. Is the issue the box router or is it a larger problem in the area?

The first thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker

If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
