My sky WiFi is down, i have to wait 1 MONTH for an engineer to fix it, surely sky can compensate with some extra data on my phone whilst this is fixed?!

Sky does that for Sky Mobile customers who have the WiFi Max subscription supplement on their Sky Broadband account.

Other than that (and the legacy Broadband Boost subscription supplement) there's the retrospective automatic compensation of £10.34 per day paid as a credit on the Sky bill.
