The range of wifi will very much depend on the equipment you have (router/boosters) and also the number of solid walls etc. between your device and the wifi source.
Personally, I have found a single router to be insufficient in providing wifi to all internal rooms let alone anywhere outside.
So I purchased an Amazon Eero Mesh network that gives good wifi coverage to all rooms in our bungalow, the patio at the back and most of the front garden.
If you really need outdoor coverage then I would recommend investing in a Mesh system (there are many different suppliers and pricepoints to chose from).
