No not box

I have signed up with sky and have had two lines of messages one saying the internet will be switched on remotely and another that says I have an engineer visit today. I also notice the property doesn't have an internal ONT box just a box with a optical cable coming out of it that would connect to the ONT box ?

is there an actual engineer coming out to sort this do you reckon?
