Hi. I currently have no internet at home. The power light and the wireless light on the router are both green but the internet light in the middle is off. It doesnt even flash like it usually does when the wifi drops out and it needs to reconnect.
The landline into the house is still working. I have done all of the recommended checks to fix the problem and none of them help. All of the cables are firmly connected. I called sky and was firstly asked if my neighbours also had a problem. I told them i have no idea. Then they did some kind of check while i was on the phone and said theres was an issue but they would need to wait 24hrs to re-do the check. How does this help me?? I was told i could book an engineer visit but the first availablity was at least 2 days away and not at a time where i would be home. They then offered an external check at the green box but this takes at least 2 working days. As its a saturday that means it will take at least 4 days.
Im now stuck with no internet at home, im self employed and cannot work and there seems to be no way of the problem being resolved for at least 72hrs. I have been a sky customer for 13yrs, surely there is a way to resolve this issue quicker??
Any help greatly appeciated.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@stacypettard short answer is no. What Sky have told you is the standard service level Openreach provides on domestic lines. Nothing you. Or Sky can do to change that. You could buy a business service with a better SLA but be prepared to pay several times your current bill.
