No internet fk2

Hi I've no internet ,do I need to contact sky or is it a area problem that you will fix

Hi all,

 

We have had confirmation that the outage in and around Grangemouth is now resolved.  I'll keep this thread open shortly just to allow users to come back and confirm this but will be looking to lock this in an hour or so.  

 

If you are still experiencing any issues, please check our service status page for any isolated issues on your line or any further exchange specific problems here: https://www.sky.com/help/servicestatus

Looks like a wider issue in the area

If in the Republic of Ireland go to the bottom of the page and change the flag to Republic of Ireland

You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on here. This is primarily a customer to customer forum.

 

You can perform the line test here:

https://www.sky.com/pages/sky=com/test-your-broadband

to check for any known issues at your local exchange.

@SaGr you are not talking to Sky by posting in the forum. If you log into the My Sky app over a mobile connection and click to run the connection test it will tell you if there is known area fault dont get confused if it shows the line iis fine tgst is from the last routine test you need to click to run the test again.

 

If there isnt a known issue call Sky to report it lines are opening now. Calls to 150 on a Sky Talk or mobile line are free.

Broadband down in FK2

Hi, my BB is down. Orange light on router for internet. I can't run tests on my connection as it doesn't work either, it says sorry not available. Can I have some reassurance that someone is aware? Service Checker says no known outages in area but there are.. I have used Sky for ages so know that it's connected correctly. Thanks

I have reset my router numerous times this morning, however this still does not work so could someone confirm if there are issues in the FK2 area as on my service checker for the area  it is telling me there are no issues?

Thanks everyone for getting onto Community and sharing this issue.  We are aware of a known outage in & around the Grangemouth area.   

 

Teams are working to resolve this ASAP 🙂

 

I'll post an update on this once I have more information to share.
