Sky Broadband is the second biggest UK ISP: at any particular point in time thousands of individual Openreach circuits to Sky subscription addresses won't be working and millions will be just fine.

I don't doubt that. Just saying when testing mine was fine!
I am also only part fibre not full so who knows?

Yes, like about five million others. While good news for those involved, reporting normal functionality isn't particularly productive.

Wider issues, particularly at this time of year, would result in this forum exploding.

Mostly because Sky still doesn't offer automated failover to cellular data on their domestic broadband and BT/EE does.
For several years after FTTP rollout BT was the only full fibre ISP in this part of the world anyway.

So I have that package currently with EE the hybrid it does cost more but I think you may have a point in that sense it's defo worth having
