No internet connection

So i got a notification monday while away from home that there was an issue with my interent. I went onto the sky app and it said the issue was in my home, not outside but inside so i was unable to book an engineer. Please bare in mind that i have a smart alarm that requires wifi to correctly function so while the internet has been down my home has been unsecured. When i returned home i look into the issue again using the sky app to diognose the issue, its here that im then suddenly told that the issue is now outside and i need an engineer. So 4 days after my internet went down and my home has not been secure, i can now try and book an engineer that can take upto 2 days to even get booked! When then spend 45 mins trying to find a phone number to call sky, i get told nothing they can do. No discount, no refund, no fast tracked engineer!! I now also need to take a day off work as i have no internet to connect into work with! Terrible, terrible service!!!

If the app found at fault outside of your property then usually it would give you the option of booking an engineer repair. If you have now done this then the standard turn around time for Openreach to come out to carry out the fix is 3-5 working days. Once the issue has been sorted you might quality for auto compensation as per this:
