No internet connection on full fibre

I upgraded from standard 36mb broadband with Sky to the 500mb full fibre(fttp) 2 days ago. When the engineer completed the installation he had no internet signal and eventually was put through to open reaches second line staff who chech things at their end and fixed things. However the internet went off about 2 hours later and did not come back on for about another 4 hours, things remained fine then overnight but about 10:30 am the next day the internet when off again and has been off for over 24 hours now. I can connect via cable and WiFi to the sky max hub on multiple devices but have no internet connection.

In the mysky app everything shows as working fine and I have a single white light on the front of my hub also the ONT box has a steady green light for power and PON and a flickering green light for LAN, the alarm light is not lit so on the face of it all should be fine, but still have no connection to the internet

Is this normal for the first couple of weeks which will sort itself out or do I have some sort of issue and need another engineer visit? Any help would be much appreciated as I use internet connectivity for all my entertainment services and for all of the smart devices in the home, including the house alarm

Re: No internet connection on full fibre

Thanks for the reply @jamesn123 , but think I sorted things out just now. I was using a VPN with my previous setup and it seems the new sky max hub is not too keen, turned it off and everything seems to be working for now
