Internet's been down all weekend and still no signs of being reconnected. Broadband working, but no access to the internet despite doing everything all the forums and sky website has suggested.
I have an engineer scheduled to come out tomorrow afternoon. When I booked the visit initially I requested it be after 5pm due to working. Is there any way of being able to contact or know if this has been actioned? I don't want to end up billed for a missed appointment after I've already mentioned my availability.
Failing that, anyone had any success in fixing this ridiculous internet downage. No internet so I can't access tv either. Basically I'm paying for sweet nothing

When you called Sky did they tell you where the fault was as usually if an engineer has been requested then the fault is outside of you property somewhere so they would go to where this is to carry out the repair so if that is the fix it doesn't matter if you are at home or not.

Didn’t call, everything was done online. According the service checker, there's no issues noted in my area.
