No Internet connection after upgrade to fibre

Recently fibre provided in village so upgraded from adsl to Sky Full Fiber GigaFast. Open Reach installed ONT and green light on.

Sky Router is an exisiting SR203 (no new Router provided).

Disconnected adsl and attached the provided ethernet cable between ONT and Router (port 4).

Connection between ONT and Router give green light on ONT and activity on the Router port 4 connection / traffic lights.

However No Internet connection - left for 10 minutes still no Internet connection.

Restarted Router but still no connection.

For now have reverted back to original slow adsl connection and all is working again.

Did we miss something? Do we need to reset hub (last resort as will take out lots of devices which will need setting up again) but if required will do so.

Only oddity from a basic set up is the connection of a Switch to the Router, this connects our wired ethernet network to the Router.

@Shirlsd Yes, the system has NOT been activated yet if you can switch back onto the copper line and it works!

Your ONT needs Power and the Pon both SOLID GREEN, the Lan will flicker with data on it, that condition then OR have the network up and sky need to provision your connection now, surprised that OR Walked away without confirming and switching you all over.

Sky will text you when your system is live, did that not happen?
