New skyhub

I am currently trying to set up my new sky hub, the activation date was the 15th, it is now the 18th.
When I have set it up, only the power and WiFi lights are green. The others have no light at all. It has been like this for more than an hour.
I have also tried to connect to the new WiFi, but it won't let me join yet. The tv is also not working yet! Please help!!

Is this a new Sky Broadband service, an upgrade in speed or a replacement Hub?

Is the television Glass/Stream?

OK: is the previous Hub working?

What was the upgrade provided for?

Remember no-one reading this forum has any access to information about your setup, so the more details you provide about the situation the more likely it is you'll get a useful response.

Re: New skyhub

The previous was working fine, this was just an upgrade. Everything is plugged in as the instructions say, but only the WiFi and the power light are on.

Do I need to inform sky that I have set up the new one and don't need the old one in order for it to work?

No, that shouldn't be necessary.  Presumably you've tried unplugging and replugging everything?

Sky Q Broadband Hub 4

The Hub 4 is the 2019 'Sky Broadband Hub': it's the successor to the 2016 Q Hub and is currently being used to replace Q Hubs because the latter don't support Sky Talk Internet Calls for use after PSTN ends.

Just to check, is the incoming connection definitely into the purple socket rather than an adjacent phone jack port?

And it's the same wall socket and cable as before?

Then unfortunately all I can suggest is plugging the previous Hub back in and seeing if that works.
