New router being sent out

I have a new router being sent out by sky who are using DPD, however I am not home when the expected delivery will take place. 
I am trying to change the delivery address but when I contact DPD they tell me that they cannot do this and that SKY need to change it. When I then contact sky, guess what? They say that they cannot change it and that DPD have to change the delivery address.!

I have spent ages on the phone to both companies and both are denying responsibility for it, which is utterly ridiculous.

Can anyone please advise me of who and how to contact someone to do this?

Sky will only deliver to the address they have on record for you. Do DPD not offer alternative delivery options: another day, weekend etc?

They offer another day but I will have to pay for the weekend delivery and when I click on an alternate day, it doesn't give me an option of a time slot, so little use changing it.

I understand that they can only deliver to the address they have, but surely I should be able to speak to someone in order to change this?

Is there a family member with the same surname as you and the relevant photo I.D. (should it be required) that can accept the package on your behalf at your address?

The issue I have is that both sky and DPD are denying who is responsible for the change of address for the delivery. It really shouldn't be this difficult

DPD normally give a one hour delivery window so you could try to be present for that short period?
