New fibre broadband not yet activated

Hi, we just moved to a new home on the 22nd and the openreach installed the new fibre connection and internet was supposed to be activated but the internet is not yet working. The PON is continuously blinking. I know it's festive period but any help would be helpful

@Velan can you say what light on the ONT is blinking and what is showing on your router is your router connected to the ONT 


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Hi, the router is connected but internet light is still off, whereas the PON light is continuously blinking..the engineer had mentioned about restarting from backend on the 22nd but seems not yet done

@Velan yea the PON light and power light should be a solid green did Sky give you the date of 22nd as the date of activasion if so worth calling Sky if you are in the UK the call center are open until 6pm today
