New connection problem

I've just got broadband super fast , have previously had broadband from sky 

the old router was connected using a micro filter never had any problems 

the new router and connection leads don't fit the micro filter so have plugged it straight into phone socket as per instructions but it is not connecting to the internet 

id be grateful of any suggestions for how to fix this

When did you join/upgrade .

 

If you are getting superfast via a fibre optic connection then you would have been sent out an ethernet cable/conversion kit

 

When is or was your activation date
