New broadband activation date

I have ordered sky today online, it's telling me my activation won't be until March 5th, I'm going to need the internet before this for work purposes. Is the activation date so late as it needs an engineer? Because it says on the delivery thing that there's no engineer needed, the family previous here also had sky so im a little confused, not really sure why it's so long if no engineer is needed

@Adriann21 The date you have been given will be the earliest available date, OfCom have imposed a 14 day wait period from when you order to when the activation can happen and no ISP(that uses the Openreach network)can get around that.
