Neighbour damaged phone line

Has anyone any experience of dealing with phoneline (no phone no broadband) being damaged by a neighbours builders during renovations and how muuch did it cost for the engineer to replace the outside phone line. an estimate would be helpful but sky said that would be between me and the engineer! bit frustrating that they never owned up to it and its been down since tuesday. thanks

If the issue is outside of your property then no matter how the damage was caused it shouldn't cost you a penny to have it fixed so have you spoken to Sky about this as they will inform Openreach of the issue.
