Need to factory reset often
About a couple of months ago my Sky router started blocking access to some sites, not adult sites, just normal sites time out, it doesn't seem shield related as disabling the shield doesn't help. Turning the router off and on doesn't fix it but doing a factory reset does fix it for a few days before it breaks again.
What could be causing this, why do I have to keep doing a factory reset just to view normal websites?

Re: Need to factory reset often
@EcoJonees Factory Reset's are WAY not the norm, once in a blue moon even had a sky hub runnibg 4 years while the sky support insisted it be done, had to comply with them did not fix the fault, that asides what elso have you tried, a diagnostic should be run, find nothing then call sky and have them do so as well from there end, it is not needed to keep your hub working and connected to the Internet!.
Try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:

Re: Need to factory reset often
Thanks for the reply.
I've run the test multiple times, always comes back with no problems.
It's bizarre, the hub just starts blocking some sites but not all, its just happened again, I'll have to factory rest...

Re: Need to factory reset often
@EcoJonees When you get time this evening, if not using the hub while you are sleeping, switch it off and in the morning back on and see how it goes that way!
You may also wish to call sky and have them take a look at the Sky Shield setting's that they are seeing when they look at your account!
