I received my new sky Q hub on Saturday, I am being activated on Tuesday August 2nd at some point during the day. Is there any point in connecting up my new hub to the telephone and television before August 2nd.
Also my new Sky Q Tv box is being installed on Tuesday August 9th, Wouldn't it be better if the engineer did it all for me.
I have a government survey on Tuesday August 2nd at 9.30 am so I think it would be better for me to stay on my old Wi-Fi hub until that is finished. I wouldn't want any mishaps.
Will my Tv work if I connect everything up on Wednesday August 3rd.
Hope you understand my questions.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you have upgraded from Sky 'ADSL' essentials broadband to 'FTTC' fibre and have been given a Sky Q Hub, you should be able to connect that pretty much right away. It's backwards compatible with ADSL so should work with your current connection.
I'm not sure I follow your questions about the TV as I read that isn't being installed until the 09th...so it would be able to connect until it's installed.
