My broadband has lost connection

My newly installed broadband has lost connection, the ONT on the wall is showing a red light, my router is showing no light for the internet

@Jason19692 Red light on the ONT then you will have NO Internet Broadband until it goes Green. You do not say what is red on the ONT! See it now from your picture and it is the worst one to have, LOS no light on the Fibre to the Exchange!

Great 🙄 only installed yesterday, I've had to book engineer to attend tomorrow as tried all the unplugging and resetting.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

You have a loss of signal  light on, on your optical network terminal box, check your  connection  with the sky service checker  in the my sky app, or call sky and ask them to run a check  on your broadband

I've already gone onto my sky and run a check already, tried the virtual assistant that didn't help at all.

@Jason19692 As long as you have kept away and not unplugging the green connection on the Fibre to the ONT!

@Jason19692 Run the service checker, just i case there is a known fault, will display if Area Faults are detected, but it is not an instant because the connection to your ONT is down, could be one off many and you do need to run it over mobile data!.

 

If you haven’t done it already use the below link to check to see if there are any broadband problems or outages nearby
