My WiFi is really unstable

Hi my WiFi is often laggy and slow. Could this be because my router is dated now. I'm planning to change providers as this is really not working for me

What one you got as Sky are replacing d broadband hubs like the Q one as going forward they will not receive any updates so you could check here to see if it will let you order a free replacement one:

Thanks that was the case.
