Hi there. We are moving out of our current home at the end of November and into a relatives for around 3 - 4 months whilst we finalise arrangements on a new home. Our temporary home already has broadband that we can access to during this interim period so as a result we will not want to move our account address or need to use our Sky broadband until we move into our new home. We appreciate that we will remain in contract and dont mind continuing full payement of our services for the duration, but we dont want any new occupants at our old address to have access to our broadband or other Sky services once we leave. How do we go about applying a temporary block on the broadband until we have our new address in place? As we intend to continue to use our Sky Glass when based at our relatives, will there be any issues accessing this via their broadband provider(it isnt Sky and will be at different address). Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSky, like other ISPs, don't put accounts 'on hold', and for the new occupants to have their own broadband at your previous address you need to cancel anyway.
Glass should be fine as long as there's enough bandwidth (c10Mbs for HD and c25Mbs for UHD) available at the Glass device (s).
