I am moving home later in the year and I will have about 7 months of my contract remaining. When I do a broadband check for my new address it says sky broadband isn't available. I assume under these circumstances I will not be charged for the remainder of the contract ?

It's an existing property likely to be moving September but not confirmed hence my guess there will be about 7 months left on my contract when I move

Best advice is at the point 2 weeks before you move ask Sky to arrange a home move which will fail if you are correct. At that point ask for cancellation charges to be waved however it is at their discretion not something you can demand.

Find out more@Steve2212 Any information on what the present people that are in the new property are going to do with the virgin service if they are going to take it and move with it making the property either you can get virgin again or start a new service there with Sky if they are able to do this for you.
