Moved home but still sky broadband is not connected

Hi,

I have moved home on 23 of september but I notice to sky team  2 or weeks ago about my new property, however they are saying that some work going on that area, not sure how long it takes but they will let us know. however other property has wifi connection. I am bit frustrated why it is so long, I am not sure what sort of work going on my area.
