Modem not working

I have tried to plug in the broadband cable into the modem and it does not work. It's an old green one I think so I can't plug it into the purple socket and every time I try to login to the Wi-Fi there's a pop-up and it says sky fix Wi-Fi and then reset it and it's like a pop-up as soon as I press the Internet so I don't know it just doesn't work

@MarcelloTerr not sure what you mean by "the modem'' Sky orovideca hub which is either white or black not green. The hub connects to an incoming line either through a phone socket or if you have a new full fibre connection an ONT which is normally a white box with lights screwed to the wall. Work through the steps here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/set-up-hub-which-sky-hub-do-you-have
