Migration to Sky BB
Hi...I'm booked to migrate from my current ISP >>Sky BB in early January.
However, I got an email from BT to say that "sorry your leaving", but my home number is with BT and I was assuming that this was being used by Sky for my new BB. Does this mean that Sky take over the landline and bill me for the rental instead of BT? Or do I lose the whole STD number....how can I keep the landline and number but get Sky BB?
thanks

Re: Migration to Sky BB
@johng12 the way you the system should work is Openreach switch the line over to Sky and the number should transfer although it is highly likely if you haven't already done so that okd analogue voice linecwill be replaced by a new digital service. Your phone plugs into the Sky hub rather than the phone socket but workd in the same way withbtgecsame number.

Re: Migration to Sky BB
If you have split path services, ie your ISP is one company & your telephone provider another, this is no longer possible. Everything has to be with one provider.
