We recieved a message from open reach to confirm activation on new broadband. However Sky messaged to say that activation is done remotely so there would be no engineer. Can someone tell me if this is a scam or legit i don't want to reply anything just incase

It is a legit message, just reply confirm if you know that the ONT has a power cable and does power up.

Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

I had the same message a couple of weeks ago (except I'm moving from Sky to Vodafone). The switch has been arranged for the end of this month, but it's not clear whether I have to reply "confirm" now, or on the day of the switch. What did you do?

I have received the below via text from a mobile number, just want to check if genuine???
Your engineer visit is on Fri 05 Jul between 1PM - 6PM at postcode ending 1LT.
Top 2 things to know:
1. Our engineer will drill a small hole into your building to connect your Full Fibre Broadband. Because of this, we need a decision maker aged 18+ to be present.
2. If you rent the property, you'll need the landlord's permission for the work to go ahead.
Reply YES to reconfirm or CHANGE before 4pm tomorrow if you need to reschedule.

Yes fibre just found it odd that it wasn't from a short number like EE 150
