Find out more@quax there have been a number of changes to Freeviw recently to free up some of the frequencies for mobile devices definitely run a te-tune on your TV which may bring back some channels. This wepage shows what channels you should be getting https://www.freeview.co.uk/freeview-channel-checker

Thank you @GD1 and @Chrisee for your responses.I have tried to re-tune TV a few times. My last attempt has yielded only 10 channels..I will try to switch off the rooter/move TV further away from rooter to see whether it will make a difference. I hope I won't need a new TV...Any other ideas/suggestions will be appreciated

Find out more@quax not heard of interference between a wifi router and Freeview and the Sky hub uses the same frequencies and power as any other wifi router as they all are governed by strict regulations but having a microwave transmitter near an aerial connection is not ideal.
Surely moving the router is easier than moving the TV? You can buy a longer lead to connect to the master phone socket. In placing the router having it higher say on a shelf is likely to imprive wifi speeds.
