Low bandwidth using Acer Cromebook (Zoom)

Using my Chromebook laptop for Zoom calls, it frequently cuts out, or I cannot hear people talking. It states @'low bandwith' and close browsers. My browsers are closed.  I am able to use my mobile phone for Zoom calls and there is not a problem. I use WIFI and live in a small flat. It seerms to be an issue with the Chromebook?

Any assistance really appreciated - thank you

Hi @TX

That model number seems to come back to a few different types so I suspect there is a more specific model number somewhere?

The main information I was trying to gather from asking for the model number was the release date of the device & what type of networking it has because my suspicion was that it is possibly an older model without the latest WiFi standards in its WiFi chipset?

Hi James, what you've said makes complete sense. This was given to me! I've also found - Elm version 126.one five eight eight six zero (won't allow me to put the numbers) if that makes the model any clearer? You are an absolute star. If it is what you've said, can I rectify the situation?

Thanks so much
