Losing signal

I've had sky glass for around 2 months now and my internet hub is next to my tv I find everyday the tv loses connection to the internet for at least 5 minutes but internet is telling me it's all good and connected so unsure what to do as I've tried all the usual checks when the service is low unplug take wire out the hub use Ethernet but still no good

Re: Losing signal

@Rache1 Is your sky glass TV connected to the sky Hub via an Ethernet connected cable or are you using wireless wifi to the TV?

Re: Losing signal

No it's not connected via Ethernet originally tried it to get service back up and running to the tv but shouldn't really have to mess about with it like that

@Rache1 ethernet is a far better connection for video than WiFi as it is free from interference. If the hub is literally next door to the hub you can hit issues as the multiple aerials inside the hub will cause areas with minimal signal which disapear around 2 metres away .. If you do choose to use ethernet to link your TV turn off the WiFi in the sets settings as.Glass TVs have a habit of using WiFi in preference after start up.
