Losing Broadband connection

Hi Folks

Similar to a few other issues on here. My property is down an unadopted lane - about 100meters . Its an old farm house 1840 abd has the old copper anologue line via a telegraph pole. All other properties in the area have full fibre. Open reach say contact SKY but I can't find the relevent inforamtion of how to request either full fibre via the telegraph pole or SOGEA. When i try to upgrade via the App it says there is no upgrade available for my property and I'm on the best for my property. I get 10 MBPS at best. The mobile signal 4g is also hit and miss so no joy there, How do i get the upgrade to full fibre or SOGEA. I iwll lose all communicationn by January 2027 and I beleive Sky stop providing on August 2026. How does Project Gigabt feed into this? i am hitting a brick wall and no one seems interested.  To add insult to njury I am partially sigjted  (Macular Distrophy) so reading help and support pages and even typing this is difficult

@KARL501 if Openreach have nor laid a full fibre cable connection your property can connect you are stuck the current roll out is commercially funded and the cost per premises is capped around £3,000 IIRC which would in no way run a cable 100m you are talking about a bill well into 5 figures. Currently the Universal Speed Obligation is 10Mb/s which is the only mechanism you can use to get a better connection.

If you enter your full address into the following checker it will show exactly what Openreach can provide. If you want help in undrrstanding the output post a screenshot of the table and the first 3 lines of the notes after obscuring the reference to your address. Openreach Checker

Re: Losing Broadband connection

Please check your property on the Openreach fibre checker and see what it says, it should state that either fibre is ready to be ordered or that they have plans to build or no current plans. once your property becomes servicable you should then be able to order.
