Sky not delivering service may well be a reason to negotiate cancellation with them: if you've paid for service not received then there should be a refund.

What you can't expect to do is just not pay: that accrues debt, and it's the debt which eventually triggers a legal procedure automatically.

Not 'my service': I'm a Sky customer and forum user.

If you've been billed and haven't paid, then there's a debt, and that triggers an automated process.

Unfortunately at this point you'll need to pay the debt, then negotiate cancellation and refund.
