Laptop WiFi connection keeps cutting out

Recently moved into new home. Working remotely in the room above my router - when I am on calls my connection becomes patchy

I am have chosen a package that should be adequate for single person working from home, but currently that doesn't

Do other devices work okay? Is it just the laptop?

It sounds like you may need a booster then. Do you have Broadband boost or Sky WiFi Max as part of your subscription?

No, I don't believe so

u would be disappointed if I have make an additional purchase or take out an additional subscription as I thought my package was adequate for working from home

Saying a product is adequate for working from home is an open statement and isnt appropriate because of all the variables.

The broadband Sky provide is certainly adequate for working from home but that depends on how you use the service.

For example if you sit next to the router connected via ethernet, of course it would be fine, however you are using it via WiFi in another room where real time applications like calls can be disrupted by other devices or dirty WiFi airspace.
