I've just signed up for broadband and TV but will, I believe, need a landline installing.
It's not clear to me how this will happen and struggling to talk to the Sky customer services team (long queue). Can anyone advise.
I couldn't find an answer to this specific question - apologies if I've missed it.

Terrestrial broadband from any ISP requires a 'line' (copper or optical cable) to arrive at the address for data to move over. If there is no such provision currently, having Openreach attend to put one or the other in is part of the process of getting broadband, and is booked by the ISP as long as Openreach records indicate it's necessary.
One complicating factor can be that properties served by Virgin Media may have had their Openreach infrastructure removed. It's also important to note that provisioning may involve drilling, which tenants should seek permission for from landlords.
