Issues since getting Fibre
I recently updated to Fibre Broadband on the assurances the service would be so much better! Since then my broadband has been much less stable, dropping out throughout the working day but having longer outages during the night. This is disruptive as it triggers the security cameras to go out when it come back on waking us up. What on earth is going on?? When checking there are no reported service issues.

Re: Issues since getting Fibre
@Lexy+C if your hub has been moved which commonly happens when full fibre is installed that will cause the WiFi signal to change. In a few cases where customers have Sky Q and the switch to fibre came with a new white Sky hub the Q boxes stop acting as WiFi extenders which also changes the WiFi signal.
Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.
Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.
