Is there any downtime on Wi-Fi/broadband during installation of gigafast?
Thanks

There shouldn't be, but there's also no guarantee of continuity of service.
Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

No problem.
One instance, for example, of really significant down-time is where a fibre installer decides to cut an existing working copper line to use as a pull-through to bring optical cable along a duct which then turns out to be blocked...

Getting the fibre to my home was a drama which took months but as the copper line followed a different route it remained up until after the new fibre service was up and running. The forum tends to collect horror stories as happy customers dont post very often.
