Is there an Installation fee for Fttp?

Hi,

Is there an installation fee for fibre to the premises?

Can't find anything online.

@GoleufrynThere is not normally a fee for the installation through Sky. As the outside work is done by Openreach on behalf of Sky and then it can be either Sky or Openreach that do the inside work.

Openreach cover installation costs up to £2800 plus VAT: beyond that the customer has to contribute ECCs (excess construction charges) paid directly to Openreach.  Typically an ISP pays Openreach a fixed amount (c£100), but doesn't charge its customer up front and recovers this cost as part of the monthly subscription over the minimum contract period.
