Is there a difference between your home internet devices?

I ordered online and Giga Hope will come. I think that was its name, but the question is, is there a difference between it and the rest of the houses?

I mean the devices you own to distribute the Internet and Wi-Fi

@MOHAMMADBARKAL are you talking abot Skys Gigafast or Gigafast+ services? Like any of their broadband service Sky will supply a router which they call a hub. This unit authenticates the connection and routes to and  from devices connected toit either by WiFi or Ethernet cables.

You can use your own router if you prefer as long as it can fulfill the same duties. Not every router can authenticate every Sky connection and the setup is unsupported by Sky but forum members can often help. Sky's digital voice line requires a Sky hub to be connected directly to the ONT.

If you have an existing WiFi set up you are free to use that the simplest set up is to configure your own equipment to operate in Access Point mode and connect to the Sky hub by Ethernet and turn off the Sky hub's WiFi. There are other setups possible which come with pros and cons.
